The Academic Resource Center is in Room 109, next to Admissions.

Tuesday 3:00 pm–8:00 pm
Wednesday 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Thursday 3:00 pm–8:00 pm
Saturday Noon–6:00 pm
Sunday Noon–6:00 pm

Tues, Wed, Thurs: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

What will the Academic Resources Center do for me?
The Center is located next door to Admissions and will help you with:· APA format and academic writing style, including reference list· Organization, clarity, grammar, and punctuation.

Will the Center proofread, edit, and fix all of my errors?
No. The Center will teach you how to fix your own written assignment. Leave yourself enough time to apply what you have learned, and then come back for a second session. The Center will not give last-minute help. Make your first visit at least 5 days before due date.

Do I need to make an appointment?
No. There are usually two assistants in room 109, so you won’t have to wait long. Come in and fill out a contact sheet. You will be next!

I live very far away. Can I still get help?
Yes! E-mail your doc to Donald Gregg: dgregg@argosy.edu

Scholarship Deadline Extension

AUA Students,

Great news! The scholarship deadline has been extended for 1 week. You have until 6:30pm on July 7, 2010 to submit your scholarship application. Print and complete the attached. Add the appropriate information for the scholarship you chose (if needed) then fax it to 770-407-1110 or pdf and email to me. Keep your confirmation.

While we are discussing scholarships, I see that some of you have already submitted an application BUT it is either an incomplete application or you checked too many boxes so we are unable to determine which one you are applying for. We won’t be able to process these applications, so if you did either of the above, you will need to resubmit your application by the deadline with only one scholarship checked and/or make sure your application is complete.

Scholarship application review should be complete the end of July and hopefully awards posted by the middle of August. Good Luck!
